Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Diana Awdry

Letter No.:
[7th January 1931]

The White Gates,
Westcott Road,

My Dear Diana

No, I want to start from the beginning as I told you - so let me know where you are to be found and I will call for you at 6.30 (If by any chance you can’t do this then you must come to 30 Glebe Place (King’s Road Chelsea) where I shall be at 6.30). But the other plan will be much better - so please let it be like that - & let me see you home - my only chance of seeing you.
So let me know your address at once - I leave before post time on Saturday.
I’m longing to see you again.
Love from
