Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Diana Awdry

Letter No.:
VWL1269
[About 25th July 1934]

The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Dear Diana

It was dear of you to keep me up to date with the Fest: It almost made me feel there - but not quite.1 I did miss not seeing you - I think I spotted you in the photograph.
Do come up to London soon & let me have a sight of you. I am still in bed though ridiculously well - but that silly old Doctor won’t let me move till it is quite healed.
Love from

Uncle Ralph
